As a coach or consultant, you’ve probably accumulated quite a number of mad skillz (come on now, don’t be modest!).
This means that you could conceivably help a great many people…which is typically a goal for most entrepreneurs.
HOWEVER, there is a difference between helping a great many people and helping the right people.
Impact is a word that usually comes up in the conversations I have with potential clients.
The problem is, without a tightly focused message, the impact is lessened considerably and your message becomes diluted and weak.
The other problem is that you are inside your Brand and cannot possibly see your ‘brand blindspots’
This is one of the biggest resistances I see around crafting a Brand that stands out and separates itself from every other business.
You’re afraid to commit.
It’s OK, I get it. But here’s the thing…if you’re not consistently working with clients that you love, if you haven’t positioned yourself as the only choice for those Dream Clients; it all goes back to one thing:
You are not for everyone and that is a beautiful thing. While you have diverse skills that could apply to any number of people or situations, trying to appeal to all of them leaves you standing in a sea of sameness hoping that someone will see you bobbing along.
No one remembers a boring, bland, and generic Brand Message.
So, how do you get yours to stand out?
Here are a few key questions that your Brand must answer:
- What is the one thing that a client will take away from your Brand Experience?
- What makes your business unique?
- Can you describe what your business is, who you serve, and how you can help them?
- Do you have a Mission Statement that outlines WHY you are in business?
- Does your Vision Statement describe where you want your business to go?
- What’s my Brand Vibe?
These questions are part of a rock solid Brand Foundation and if you can’t answer them, your Brand and your business are in trouble.
In a few weeks I am starting the Summer Success Mastermind program that is a unique hybrid of group coaching and 1-1 Brand Strategy coaching that will help you get clear on your Brand Message and allow you to start having the real impact that you know you’re supposed to make.
This exclusive opportunity is limited to 12 women who want to build a Brand they love.
