First of all, remember there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ on pricing. You also need to get rid of the ‘should’ mindset around pricing. In other words, just because others in your niche are charging a certain price point, doesn’t mean that you must follow the crowd. It’s good to get a feel for what others are doing, but don’t forget to factor in other considerations.
Take into account the amount of brand equity you have in your business. For those starting out, a lower price point may be exceedingly more valuable in terms of growing your expertise, experience and knowing exactly who you want to work with and the results you get for them.
It’s equally important to recognize when resentment is setting in over what you’re charging and raise your prices to a satisfactory energetic vibration (I know that sounds all woo-woo, but it also very practical in bringing all your best to your clients).
Consider how many clients you want to work with at any one time and the income you want to make in a month or year. Does it add up?
Think packages rather than individual hours in order to leverage your time and how you work with people.
Consider how and where your clients get their best results. Is it through 1-1 work or group work?
Be thoughtful of how many offers you have at any given time. If you’re trying to promote 6-7 different ways to work with you, it will be confusing for people to figure what’s the best way to work with you…and a confused mind never buys.
Remember that you are not selling your coaching or methodology…you are selling the solution or results that clients get. I can’t stress how important this is and how many coaches are getting it wrong.
