In my last post, I discussed that sometimes you need to take your WHY off the figurative shelf, bookcase, coffee table, or wherever you have stored it, dust it off, polish it up and make it pretty and shiny again.
So today, let’s take it off the shelf. What’s that you say?!?! You can’t find it?!? Are you sure? Have you looked all over for your WHY? Hmmmm…where is that darn WHY anyway? It’s probably hiding with that crafty TV remote and that sneaky, ever elusive sock.
But seriously…if your WHY is MIA or perhaps nonexistent, then now is the perfect time to start putting together the ingredients in order to create a big, juicy, luscious WHY that you can sink your teeth into.
So you may be saying WHY do I need a WHY anyway Danielle? Ahhh…young grasshopper, creating your WHY is essential to your success.
Your WHY will help you figure out what motivates you, what makes you leap out of bed in the morning, and what puts you on the path to Creating the Life You Crave.
Now you also may be saying, “I’m cool, I have my WHY thank you very much.” Awesome…yay… bonus points and a gold star to you
But guess what? You, your life, your circumstances, your experiences all contribute to you changing and therefore your WHY changing as well.
Maybe your WHY is like that knick-knack that you picked up on vacation because you thought it went with the rest of your décor, but in reality it doesn’t fit your style anymore (or maybe you secretly didn’t even like it to begin with).
One of the biggest and most valuable tips I can give you is to give yourself some space. Time alone is so precious and valuable, but it’s almost like we’re afraid to be by ourselves because we’re scared of what we might discover about ourselves.
Have you taken your WHY off the shelf lately?
